Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions set out the agreement between you and Hand Of Luck Casino: who may open an account, how we verify it, how deposits, withdrawals and offers work, and what to do if something goes wrong. Please go through them before you play.

Accepting these terms, and how we change them
These terms apply every time you use our site and your account with us. By registering an account, depositing or placing a stake, you confirm that you have read them, that you accept them, and that you accept the documents referred to in them, including our privacy policy and the terms of any offer you take part in.
We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law, in our regulatory obligations, in the payment methods we support, or in how the site works. Where a change affects your rights or the way you use your account, we will tell you in advance by e-mail or by a notice in your account, and the version in force will always be the one shown on this page.
If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the site and ask us to close your account. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
Eligibility, your account and verification
Who may hold an account
- You must be 18 or over. Gambling is not permitted for anyone under 18, and we run age checks for that reason.
- You must be resident in the United Kingdom and register in your own name, for your own use.
- You may hold one account only. Additional accounts opened in the same name, at the same address or with the same payment details may be closed.
- You must not be acting for anyone else, and you must not be registered with a self-exclusion scheme that covers this site.
- You must be using the site as a consumer, not for any business or trade purpose.
Your details and your login
The details you give us must be accurate and complete, and you must keep them current in your account. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens on your account. Do not let anyone else use it. Tell us as soon as you can if you think someone else has your login details, and we will help you secure the account.
Identity, age and address checks
We hold a gaming licence and are required to know who our players are, so we verify identity, age and address. These checks must be completed before your first withdrawal, and we may ask for documents when you register, at any later point, or where your activity changes. We may restrict play or payments until the checks are finished.
Source-of-funds checks
Where we are required to, we will also ask about the source of the funds you are gambling with. Documents can be sent through the secure upload in your account or to support@casinohandofluck.co.uk, and we will treat them in line with our privacy policy.
Deposits and withdrawals
You may only deposit from a payment method held in your own name. The methods available to you, together with the minimum and maximum amounts and any processing times, are the ones shown in the cashier when you are signed in. Funds in your account are there for play; we do not operate your balance as a banking service and we do not pay interest on it.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Request | You ask for a withdrawal in the cashier, up to the limits shown there. |
| Checks | We complete any outstanding verification and account checks. A request may sit as pending while this is done. |
| Payment | Funds are returned to the method you deposited with where that is possible, or to another method in your own name where it is not. |
If a deposit is reversed, charged back or fails after it has been credited, we may recover the amount from your balance or treat it as a debt owed to us. Any fee charged by your own bank or payment provider is a matter between you and that provider.
Bonuses and promotional offers
Every offer has its own terms, which are shown with the offer and apply alongside these terms. Where the two conflict, the terms of the offer apply to that offer. Offers commonly carry conditions of the kinds set out below.
- Wagering requirement. A bonus, and any winnings made with it, must be staked a set number of times before the money can be withdrawn.
- Maximum stake. While a bonus is active, there is a limit on how much you may stake on a single spin or hand, and stakes above it may break the terms of the offer.
- Expiry. An offer runs for a set period, and unused bonus funds and any winnings tied to them are removed from your account once that period ends.
- Game contribution. Only some games count towards a wagering requirement, and each type of game contributes a different share of the amount you stake.
- Conversion cap. There may be a limit on the amount of bonus winnings that can be turned into withdrawable funds, with anything above it removed.
Offers are intended for recreational play. Where we find that promotions are being abused, for example through duplicate or linked accounts, group play, or betting patterns designed to clear a requirement with little risk, we may withdraw the bonus and any winnings from it, and we may remove access to future offers.
Check an offer before you opt in
Claiming a bonus is always optional. If a condition would not suit the way you play, decline the offer and play with your own funds instead.
Safer gambling, and closing or suspending an account
Your account includes tools to help you stay in control: deposit limits, loss and stake limits, session reminders, short time-outs and self-exclusion for a longer period. A request to lower a limit takes effect quickly; an increase takes effect only after the cooling-off period shown in your account. Once a time-out or self-exclusion is in place, we cannot lift it early.
Our games are for adults aged 18 and over. Free, confidential support is available from GambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline, and GamStop lets you self-exclude from all online operators licensed in Great Britain in one step.
When an account is closed or suspended
- At your request. Ask us in live chat or by e-mail and we will close the account and return any remaining balance, subject to outstanding checks.
- Through self-exclusion. We will close or block access for the period you have chosen and remove you from our marketing.
- After a long period without activity. We may treat a dormant account as closed and will tell you how to claim any remaining balance.
- Where these terms are breached, or where we suspect fraud, collusion, prohibited use or a legal or regulatory obligation requires it, we may suspend the account while we look into the matter.
Complaints, liability and governing law
Raising a complaint
If something has gone wrong, contact us in live chat or write to support@casinohandofluck.co.uk with your account details and what happened. We will acknowledge your complaint, look into it, and give you a written answer with our reasons within a reasonable time.
Independent dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with our final answer, you can refer the matter free of charge to the independent alternative dispute resolution service we use. We will tell you how to do that when we send our final answer, and we will co-operate with the process.
Our liability
We provide the site and the games with reasonable skill and care, but we cannot promise that the site will always be available or free of faults. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our control, by your own breach of these terms, or by a device or connection you use. Where a game, display or balance is affected by an error or malfunction, the affected stakes and results are void and we will put the position right. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms and your account with us are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute between us will be settled under those laws.
